Sales Representative (Kansas City)

SALES REPRESENTATIVE This roll interacts directly with the customer. This individual is responsible for sales development and program execution within a respective account base. This position is responsible for attaining monthly and annual territory sales targets. This person should be able to perform well in a team environment and have the ability to work on their own without direct daily supervision.

The position reports to a Territory Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and track sales objectives for designated sales territory Participate in regular sales meetings to ensure alignment Strategic planning for a sales territory Manage all planning, recaps and reporting Build and manage customer relationships Create, manage and execute business development strategy Execute sales programs Manage a territory budget Manage activity calendar for territory Comply with all company policies REQUIREMENTS At least 3 years in the wine, spirits, or restaurant industry Strong wine knowledge and passion for the business Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to communicate, present and influence customers Ability to educate customers Possess strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must have valid driver’s license
