Associate Orthodontist Full-Time or Part-Time | Belmont & South. Park (Charlotte Metro), NC Monday – Friday | No Weekends About the Opportunity Premier Orthodontics is a growing new orthodontic practice serving the Charlotte metro area. We're looking for an orthodontist who wants to help build and grow a practice. We currently see patients in two locations, Belmont and South.

Park. Our practice operates inside an established pediatric dental office. This gives you a steady, built-in flow of young patients and families who already trust the office, along with daily working relationships with the pediatric dentists. You'll spend your time treating patients, not chasing new ones. This is a chance to make a real impact early on.

All candidates must be available to work any weekday, Monday through Friday. Part-time schedules are built from these weekdays based on practice needs. Providers rotate between our Belmont and South. Park offices.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive orthodontic exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children, teens, and adults Deliver a full range of treatment, including Phase I/interceptive care, comprehensive braces, and clear aligners Present treatment recommendations to patients and parents clearly and confidently to support case acceptance Collaborate closely with the pediatric dentists on early screening, referrals, and coordinated care Direct and support clinical assistants to keep patient flow efficient and on schedule Monitor treatment progress, manage finishing and debonds, and oversee retention Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and documentation Help develop clinical protocols, quality standards, and a great patient experience as the practice grows Build community and referral relationships that support practice growth Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Certificate in Orthodontics from a CODA-accredited residency program Active North Carolina dental license, or eligibility to obtain one before starting Board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics, or progress toward it, is a plus New graduates are encouraged to apply Strong communication skills with children and parents, plus a warm chairside manner Team-oriented, growth-minded, and excited about helping build a new practice Willing to travel between the Belmont and South.
