Description Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to support all Customer Service Department Teams based on daily priority and staffing needs.

Essential Functions

To perform this job successfully, candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Assists Service Team with incoming mail, indexing mail, scanning mail and process outgoing mail. Assists Service Team with reception coverage, processing faxes and unassigned emails. Assists with document, hard file storage and destruction.

Assists with inputting new claims (TDI, Property, AUT0, GL, Marine, JADA) and emailing clients. Assists with reopening and reassigning current claims. Assists with updating policies and codes in File Handler system. Establish cordial and professional rapport with all clients/contacts Adapt to client’s external claims system as necessary Other Responsibilities Perform all work-related duties as assigned.

Additional duties as assigned. Competencies Strong organization skills, priority identification skills, and computer skills is required. Familiarity with claims (FileHandler) system (with training). Accurate typing 40 WPM Ability to lift 25 lbs. Ability to work with differing work styles, processes, and client requirements.

Ability to work well independently and as a team player Ability to adapt to procedural changes Ability to handle high volume workload and meet required deadlines. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, 10-key adding machines, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with flexible work shift within the Company flex schedules, and as approved by department manager.

Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Preferred Education and Experience Previous experience as Support Specialist. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position.
