GD&E, an Artiflex family company, is hiring a few Machinists, including a Gun-Driller, to help craft die cast dies, plastic injection molds, and stamping die components in a low-volume, high-mix environment. If you thrive on precision, challenge, and variety—this is the role for you. What You’ll Do: Program on the shop floor using WorkNC Operate CNC equipment, to machine tight-tolerance parts with quality as a top priority Perform setups and validate work using precision inspection tools Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency Types of Machines You May Operate: Horizontal CNC Mills Vertical CNC Mills 5-Axis CNC Mills EDM Sinker Machines Carbon Machining Equipment Gun Drilling Machines You May Be A Great Fit If You Have: 2+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a die shop or tooling environment On-floor programming experience using WorkNC or similar CAM software Strong knowledge of measuring and inspection tools Proven commitment to high-quality workmanship Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail Carbon machining and EDM sinker experience (preferred) Experience running a gun drill is desired.
