Job Description: Randazzo Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for a highly skilled HVAC professional committed to quality workmanship, safety, and exceptional customer service. The Lead Installer supervises a two-person installation team and ensures all projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Install ductwork, sheet metal transitions, refrigeration lines, condensate systems, and venting
- Replace and diagnose electrical and mechanical components
- Maintain responsibility for company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Procure materials to meet scheduled completion timelines
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Ensure compliance with all codes, standards, and company policies
- Maintain professional appearance and strong customer relations
- Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- HVAC certification or associate degree preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Minimum 2+ years HVAC installation experience (lead experience preferred)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Service. Titan experience preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to mentor and develop team members Schedule
- Day shift
- Overtime as required
- On-call rotation may be required
- Weekend and holiday work as needed Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs
- Comfortable working in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and confined areas
