Position Overview
Role: Teacher Location: Anchorage, Alaska Type: Full-time, non-exempt position Work Hours: Monday
- Friday, 8-hour shift between 7:30 am-5:30 pm (Year-Round) Starting Salary: Dependent on education level: CDA/SEED Equivalent Certificate: $24.28 per hour Associate's Degree: $26.70 per hour Bachelor's Degree: $29.38 per hour Graduate Degree: $32.32 per hour There is a 10-step wage scale built into this position that occurs annually.

Implement play-based learning and individual/small group instruction strategies.
Conduct ongoing assessments and collaborate with parents to set goals for children's growth. Participate in professional development opportunities and coaching to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
Current Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) with Infant Toddler specific training, OR State of Alaska SEED Practitioner Certificate Level Six or higher with willingness to obtain CDA within 6 months of hire, OR Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with specific coursework in early childhood education.
