Banquet Houseperson

Description We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard-working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of! Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO) Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic manner Ensure that the banquet area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition Ensure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated area Always be present in room and greet guests upon arrival Submit maintenance requests to the engineering department for broken or damaged equipment Assist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessary Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws Maintain equipment in good condition Report on any shortages, damages or security issues Handle reasonable guests' complaints/requests and inform others when required $15.
