Security Officer/Trainee

Job Details: Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00, SECURITY TRAINEE (1), Hoopa Tribal Police Department, Regular, F/T, Salary: $18.00/hr., Security officer/Trainee is temporary position as the individual prepares to transition to the P.O.S.T Academy and become a certified Police officer. Will assist with the deterrence of criminal activity and aiding with patrol.

Responsible for patrolling buildings and grounds of the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation, including industrial plants, commercial establishments, entities, logging areas and work sites.

Qualifications

Must have a Valid Driver’s License. Must be insurable in accordance with the Hoopa Valley Tribe’s insurance policies. High School diploma or Equivalent. Must be 18 years of age. Must be able and available to work all shifts including day, swing, night, weekends and holidays. No disqualifying criminal background or convictions. Must be dependable and a team-player.
