Job description
Description The Field Technician, Emergency Kit Solutions installs, maintains, audits, and supports MedWiz emergency medication and dispensing solutions at client facilities. This role provides onsite and remote technical support, training, troubleshooting, inventory support, and field coordination to ensure systems and related workflows operate effectively.
Install, configure, test, and maintain MedBank Tower, MedFlex Cabinet, and related systems. Conduct equipment, medication inventory, expiration, and compliance audits and support accurate inventory management. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot technical, system, inventory, and user issues. Provide onsite and remote client training and follow-up support; develop or maintain training materials as needed.
Coordinate installations, upgrades, maintenance, and service activities with clients and internal partners. Maintain accurate records of installations, audits, maintenance, repairs, and follow-up activities. Serve as a technical resource for client issues and recommend solutions to recurring problems. Build effective relationships with long-term care facility staff and adapt support to operational needs.
Travel regularly to client locations, including responding to time-sensitive service needs when required. Work in pharmacy, healthcare, office, warehouse, and field environments and lift or maneuver equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Perform other activities assigned by leadership.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1–3 years of related pharmacy technician, field service, healthcare technology, equipment support, or similar experience. Pharmacy Technician certification or registration where required, or ability to obtain required credentials. Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage field assignments and resolve service issues. Intermediate proficiency with computers, mobile technology, and related systems. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and required automobile insurance. Ability to travel regularly to client facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Long-term care or pharmacy operations experience. Experience with automated medication dispensing or emergency medication systems. Experience with MedBank, MedFlex, eMAR, FrameworkLTC, or similar systems. Experience providing client training or multi-site field support.
