Medical Assistant (Part Time (up to 29 hours per week))

Position Overview

Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting which may include both clinical and front desk duties.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant or LPN - and/or two years experience in a clinical setting Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge Administering Medication Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction Computer proficient Location and Hours of Position Rochester Health Center Adult Behavioral Health, 176 Virginia Ave, Rochester PA 15074 This position is part-time; 16 hours/week.

The general office hours for this location are: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm NO WEEKENDS Compensation Position starts at $17.00 (MA) per hour, or $20.00 (LPN) however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
