School Cleaner – Immediate Start Location: Fulford School, Fulfordgate, Heslington Lane, Fulford, York YO10 4FY We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at a school in Fulford, York. Working Hours: During School Holidays=
- Monday to Friday, 3.5 hours a day, 17.5 hours weekly (flexible start time between 08:00am – 11:30am) Normal hours= Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm – 7:00pm Friday: 1:30pm – 5:30pm Start Date: Immediate About the Role You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the school. Duties include: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Following all health and safety procedures Essential Requirements A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate including the Children's Barred List is essential. Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently. High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
