Mechanical Engineer

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Engineer for a mechanical/electrical engineering opening. This position is in direct support of DoD Projects. Candidates who are mission-oriented, organized, and enjoy a fast-paced team environment, are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver integrated products and services including: design and development along with integration, test and delivery, and creation of technical documentation. Specific tasks include:

• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings of complex assemblies using Solid. Works and/or Creo.
• Develop and update system diagrams, assembly, subassembly and part drawings.
• Support hands-on integration and test activities.
• Provide troubleshooting support and feedback of test results to system design activities.
• Document test results and generate formal test reports.
• Create and maintain bill of materials.
• Support prototype first article project builds.
• Supervise technicians and provide production support. Answer questions regarding drawing interpretation and proper assembly techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree. - 0-10 Years Experience in the field of Engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D Modeling / Design tools (e.g. Solid Works, Inventor, Creo, Altium).
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Desired:
• Familiarity with DoD Technical Data Package contents, interpretation, and implementation
