📍 Location: Field-based (UK) with regular travel to customer sites, occasional international travel and overnight stays as required. All other work is home-based. 💷 Salary: Competitive + Commission 👤 Reporting to: Customer Account Manager Team Manager 🚀 ABOUT THE ROLE As a Customer Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of existing iSAMS customers across the education sector.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with schools to maximise the value they get from the iSAMS platform, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and product adoption. Through regular customer meetings, you'll identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional solutions, managing the full sales cycle from opportunity through to close.

This is a relationship-led commercial role that combines account management, customer success and new revenue generation, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on both customer experience and business growth. 🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with your portfolio of schools.
  • Become the primary point of contact for your customers, ensuring regular communication and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell the wider iSAMS product portfolio.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and close.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations and on-site visits.
  • Help customers maximise adoption and utilisation of the iSAMS platform.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records within Salesforce.
  • Attend conferences, exhibitions and customer events to build relationships and promote iSAMS.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, sharing feedback to help improve products and services. ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Success or Relationship Management within a B2B Software or SaaS environment.
  • A proven track record of retaining customers while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Experience managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Confidence using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience within the education sector or knowledge of iSAMS would be advantageous.
