Language and Social Skills Opportunities Program (LASSO

1. The Language and Social Skills Opportunities program is a SEDOL program that has been designed for those students in 4th-8th grades who exhibit characteristics of high functioning Autism (formerly Asperger's Syndrome) and have the potential to benefit from exposure to mainstream curriculum concepts and methods. Description: Special Education Paraprofessionals support teachers in carrying out assignments with special education students as part of the daily routine. We have an openings for a 1:1 paraprofessional in our Lasso I program located at Olive Martin in Lake Villa, IL. The paraprofessional supports the classroom teacher with instructional and emotional growth.

A Day in the Life

Data Collection Bathroom Support (including but not limited to: diapering, potty training, etc) Implement curricular tools and behavior management strategies under the guidance of the teacher and/or related service providers Promote Student Independence Prepare classroom materials and support overall classroom organization, structure and cleanliness Job Type: Full-time, 2026-2027 School Year Salary and Benefits Starting Hourly Wage range from $21.
