Accounting Assistant Lead

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Pay Range: $28-$30 an hour | Monday though Friday from 8am-5pm We’re looking for an experienced Admin Lead to join our automotive Business Office/Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong dealership accounting experience who has worked across multiple areas of the Business Office and understands the day-to-day accounting operations of an automotive dealership.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate day-to-day administrative and accounting functions Review and maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting functions Support month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain organized dealership files and records Assist with inventory and other dealership accounting processes Provide support and guidance to administrative staff Partner with management and the Accounting Department to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently Qualifications: CDK experience required Strong experience across all areas of accounting Hands-on experience in different accounting positions/functions within an automotive Business Office Previous experience handling a variety of accounting responsibilities Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while supporting and leading the administrative team Benefits & Perks: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Complimentary Life Insurance 401k Matching and FSA Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off (accrues) Supplemental Insurance (Hospital, Accident, Critical Illness) Discounts on Vehicles, Services, and Parts
