We are seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with strong home health and triage experience to join our growing Virtual Care team. Your Role

as a Virtual Home Health COTA As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) , you will provide skilled virtual therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your care will empower patients to regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities safely.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Care: Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Occupational Therapist. ADL Support: Assist patients with improving activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

Education

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive technology, and environmental safety strategies. Clinical Monitoring: Monitor patient progress, track outcomes, and report clinical changes promptly to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Certification & Licensing: Active COTA credential and an unencumbered Florida COTA license . Certifications: Current CPR certification. Experience: Prior home health or triage experience is preferred.
