National Account Executive - Retail Sales
Job description
Manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include planning, reporting, target (quota) setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, recruiting and selection of sales force talent. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include assisting with: Accountable for the on-time implementation of sales organization targets (quotas) and performance objectives.
- Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives.
- Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for sales organization effectiveness.
- Achievement of strategic objectives defined by company management.
- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Pro-actively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
- Supports the equitable assignment of sales force targets (quotas) and ensures targets are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
- Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.
- Pro-actively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Implements enabling technologies, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
- Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.

Education
Five (5) years sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
Qualifications

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications Overnight travel estimated at 50%. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
