Established in 2002 and headquartered in Paris, France, Holland Bikes is dedicated to bringing the Dutch cycling tradition to cities around the world. Our mission is to make cycling an accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable way to explore and experience urban environments. Over the past two decades, Holland Bikes has grown into the leading provider of bike tours and rentals in France, operating more than 20 retail and rental locations and welcoming hundreds of thousands of customers each year.
In 2024, Holland Bikes expanded internationally with the opening of its first U.S. location in Brooklyn, New York. Located near the Brooklyn Bridge, the location offers high-quality Dutch bikes and e-bikes for rent, as well as guided tours of Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan in multiple languages. Following the success of the Brooklyn operation, Holland Bikes continued its New York expansion in 2025 with the opening of a second location in Midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks from Central Park.
From this location, we offer bike and e-bike rentals as well as guided tours of Central Park and Manhattan. Tasks As the Front Desk and Store Representative at Holland Bikes, you take care of a variety of tasks that are crucial to a seamless operation and amazing customer experience. In a nutshell, your day-to-day tasks include: Welcoming and checking in customers Handing out bikes and necessary equipment for tours and bike rentals Answering phone calls and emails Supporting tour guides in a timely departure of their tours Making sure the shop always looks clean and well organized Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills: Amazing hospitality – a warm, approachable manner, great listening skills and always willing to facilitate whenever possible Excellent social skills – you communicate easily with people from different countries and different cultures Learn and adapt quickly – in our first branch in the US, we face new challenges every day.

When we are successful in our jobs, the tours are unforgettable experiences for our guests The ability to work independently – you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop in the weekends Speaking multiple languages is a HUGE plus (in particular: Dutch, German, French or Italian) Benefits Being part of a young, but fast-growing and high paced organization with highly motived professionals from all over the world Flexibility in workdays and hours – we’re specifically looking for people to work in the weekends, so this job can easily be combined with a study.
Additional workdays are available. Hourly base pay of 17-20 USD Location : 446 W 54th Street, New York, NY 10019 (on-site) Hours: Weekends (Saturday and Sundays, from 9am to 5pm). Additional (week)days available if desired.
