Medical Assistant / EKG Technician – Cardiology

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant / EKG Technician to join our busy cardiology practice. This is a cross-trained position combining clinical/EKG responsibilities with front-desk support .

Qualifications

1–3+ years of medical office/clinical experience Experience performing 12-lead EKGs Athena. One experience strongly preferred CMA/RMA/CCMA and BLS preferred Strong computer, communication, and patient-service skills Dependable, punctual, organized, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced physician practice Willing to rotate between clinical and reception duties Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vitals, and perform EKGs Review and update patient information and documentation Maintain exam rooms and support efficient patient flow Check patients in and out Customer service; friendly Collect copays and verify referrals/documentation Schedule and reschedule appointments Assist with phones and other front-office responsibilities Work closely with physicians and clinical staff Schedule Monday–Friday , between 7:30 a.

m. and 5:30 p.m. , based on physician schedules.
