Social Worker for Adult Services

This is a weekend only position, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm

Springbrook Behavioral Health has a weekend only Social Worker opportunity providing services to our adult patient population.

Position Description:

Deliver social work services to adult patients with focus on completion of Psychosocial Assessments, Suicide Assessments and facilitate Psychoeducational groups.

Responsibilities

Complete Psychosocial Assessments and Suicide Assessments for all newly admitted patients for evaluating and determining medical, mental/behavioral health, social, economic and residential needs.

Provide psychoeducational groups for adult patients that focus on coping skills, stress management, diagnosis and aftercare education in addition to community resources.

Required Qualifications:

Master of Social Work or Master of Counseling

Licensure desired, LMSW or LPC , preferred

Experience and Skills:

Hospital Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of acute care or inpatient referencing psychiatric care

Demonstrated competence in leading psychoeducational or therapeutic groups for adult populations in an inpatient setting

Strong working knowledge of DSM -5-TR, medical terminology and therapeutic interventions

Ability to work independently with minimal weekend supervision.
