Graphic Designer

Heimstaden Bostad is a pan-European real estate investor, manager and operator. We manage around 155,000 homes across nine countries with a property value of around EUR 30bn. We acquire, develop, and manage properties, focusing on creating lasting value for shareholders, our tenants and the communities where our properties are located.

We are looking for an experienced freelance graphic designer with strong skills in editorial design and document production to join us for a two-month project during January and February. The role is particularly suited to a designer who enjoys the technical side of design: building well-structured documents, working with typography and grids, handling large amounts of content, and turning data into clear and consistent layouts.

We are primarily seeking freelancers based in Oslo, Norway, who can collaborate with us from the office. The Project During the two-month engagement, you will support the production of corporate reports and the respective materials. The work will involve taking existing design systems, templates and brand guidelines and applying them consistently across content-heavy documents.

Typical tasks will include: Editorial layouts and multi-page documents Annual and corporate reporting materials Typography and complex text hierarchies Tables, charts and data visualisation Creating and maintaining templates and reusable document structures Making revisions and implementing feedback throughout the production process Preparing final artwork for digital publication What we're looking for You have a strong understanding of editorial design and professional document production, and know how to build files that are not only visually strong, but technically clean and easy for another designer to continue working with.

You are structured, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently, with the ability to respond well to feedback and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. You should be highly proficient in Adobe In. Design and Illustrator, including: Baseline grids, margins and column systems Paragraph and character styles Parent pages, tables and cell styles Long-document typography Preflight, packaging and preparing files for production Interested?
