Helping him find new hobbies and expand on the ones he’s currently passionate about. He enjoys talking about board games, especially the one he is currently creating and the story lines behind the characters. He likes to spend his time participating in fun activities as well in the community and learning more about being independent. The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must be open to helping him explore new activities and interests. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency. Hours and days of work: Late mornings, early afternoon; Days are Mondays and Wednesdays Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience. Location: Cazenovia, NY Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
