Description Selec. Transportation Resources seeks motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Diesel Mechanic Extern to learn and understand diesel engines and equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist senior diesel mechanics with a variety of tasks, including: Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems Performing routine maintenance and inspections Replacing parts and components Using diagnostic tools and equipment Maintaining a clean and organized work area Perform other tasks as assigned by service managers, including: Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all store and shop areas Assisting with parts inventory management General shop maintenance Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of diesel engine operation and maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a team US Citizen State issued ID High School diploma or GED Minimum 18 years of age Positive attitude and willingness to learn
