• ROTAN, TX, Position Type: Seasonal, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, The hospital is seeking a dependable environmental services employee to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position assists with cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas while following hospital sanitation and infection control standards. Job duties include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas throughout the hospital. Other duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. The employee will assist with room turnover and deep cleaning after patient discharge while following all hospital safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. This position may also restock cleaning supplies, report maintenance concerns to supervisors, and maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality while working in clinical areas.

Qualifications

Dependable and able to work independently Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Must pass a background check and drug screen
