High Point Residence Quincy is looking for a dependable, motivated, and passionate Cook to join our dietary team! Our dining team plays an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our residents.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. If you enjoy cooking, working as part of a team, and making a positive difference in the lives of older adults, we would love to hear from you! Position Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals according to established menus and recipes.

Accommodate residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences. Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Assist with food preparation, storage, inventory, and kitchen organization.

Work collaboratively with dietary staff and community leadership. Assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident celebrations.

Qualifications

Previous cooking experience preferred. Experience in senior living, healthcare, or a similar food service setting is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Dependable, positive, and committed to providing quality meals and service. Availability to work daytime hours, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
