New Business Specialist

We’re seeking a New Business Specialist who will be responsible for finding new leads in our target market, cultivating a relationship with those leads, and working to secure new business. We are looking for someone who is driven, has a desire to network, and can handle rejection well. Working hours for this position will vary and may include extended hours during busy times and for meetings or other events.

This position will require working from our main office, from home, and remotely, usually within a 100 mile radius. Location: Detroit, MI Pay: Up to $70,000 a year What You’ll Do: Identify and pursue prospects until they become an Allied client. Communicate and meet with prospects and clients to acquire work and new opportunities for Allied.

Work with Allied personnel to develop and close first opportunities. Transfer the relationship you have developed to the Business Developer(s). Attend networking events and company functions.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence, people-skills, and the ability to work independently. Comfort with face-to-face customer interaction on an everyday basis. Willingness to work from our Detroit office as well as travel to job sites and other offsite work locations. Has reliable transportation.
