Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)—Outpatient Pediatrics Setting

TheraEd Staffing Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join an outpatient pediatric therapy team in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The SLPA will work with pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, providing speech and language therapy services and supporting individualized treatment plans.

This is a full-time, 26-week contract position with a consistent 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Implement treatment activities and interventions according to established patient care plans. Support patients in improving communication, speech, language, and related skills. Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately.

Collaborate with the supervising SLP and multidisciplinary therapy team. Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for pediatric patients. Follow all facility, state, and professional requirements.

Requirements

Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) credentials/licensure in Arizona. Appropriate education and training required for SLPA practice. Pediatric therapy experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children and families. Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule for the duration of the contract.
