Former Installer

As a Former Installer you will be expected to have an in depth understanding of the technical and operational aspects of the Formers on the production lines. This is a manual, hands-on role will require you to operate equipment, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm through the New Year. Then it will move to either Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm or Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am (includes a 5% shift differential for 2nd shift).

Duties and Responsibilities

Reports on any mechanical problems. Utilizes continuous-improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and required work-safe practices. Responsible for in-process inspection procedures. Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.

Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns. Focused on resources and goals of the AN Former’s team Performs other duties as assigned. Attention to Detail. Versatility. Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools. Problem-solving skills. Ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work well with others Regular attendance and being on time are a must. High school diploma or GED. Industrial Maintenance experience in a related industry. Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards. Must be able to lift to 50lbs. Physical skills - movement, coordination and dexterity.

Working Conditions The role requires standing for extended periods, walking around the facility, squatting and occasionally lifting or moving heavy objects. Working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse can involve exposure to extreme temperatures
