Job Description: Business Partnering is a critical pillar of the People & Organization function at Mars. This role is central to shaping and enabling a high-performing Supply organization: one that is engaged, capable, and equipped to deliver on our growth ambition. This role will be the P&O co-pilot to all technical functions of PN Central Eurasia, championing our unique Mars Culture with the Essence of Mars, our 5 Principles and our Associate Concept.
The role will provide people centric co-piloting whilst being the linking element between Technical Leadership Team and Associates. The incumbent would be expected to spearhead P&O projects and support the P&O Director in driving the overall people & talent agenda across Pet Nutrition CEA with a strong focus on a future ready Organization as well as sustainably establishing and continuously shaping the Mars culture.
Key responsibilities
Co-pilot Supply stakeholders with the new organizational structure, and lead the establishment of all P&O processes and policies, ensuring full compliance with local law and Mars standards. Provide leadership in shaping business strategic objectives and driving business success. Focus areas include business leadership - driving alignment of the people agenda with the business strategy and ensuring Associate advocacy; shape a talent strategy that supports growth and Associate development and ensures a “fit for purpose” organization Context and Scope: Business Partnership: As a trusted partner to business leaders, incumbent will translate strategy into impactful people priorities.
Co-pilot the leadership team, providing expert counsel on organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness. A key part of the role will be to coach and empower line managers, helping them build their capabilities and enabling them to interact directly and effectively with their teams. By fostering a "One Mars" environment, P&O BP will serve as a strong advocate for associates, ensuring they understand the business objectives and how their work contributes to our collective success.
Drive P&O Project Excellence: This role will be the single point of accountability for the P&O workstream of the project. This includes developing and managing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely execution. P&O BP will serve as the primary contact for all P&O project updates, proactively mitigating risks and reporting status to the project team and key stakeholders.
Strong project management skills will be crucial to delivering industry-leading solutions that strengthen our operational goals . Build a World-Class Team from the Ground Up: In partnership with our central Talent Acquisition team, this role will lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy to fully staff the new operating entity.
This is a large-scale undertaking that includes workforce planning, sourcing, screening, and hiring, from the leadership team to associates. You will also be responsible for implementing a robust onboarding program designed to immerse new hires in our unique Mars culture and set them up for long-term success. Shape the Organization and Culture: Business partner will be an architect of our culture.
You will lead the implementation of all Mars signature processes, including rewards, performance management, and talent systems. Education
& Professional Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required Preferred: An advanced degree, such as a Master’s in Human Resources, international certification, or a related field, is highly desirable. Knowledge / Experience : Proven experience as an HR/P&O Business Partner, preferably within a supply, manufacturing, or operations environment Deep understanding and hands-on experience in all facets of talent acquisition, including mass recruitment, sourcing, and hiring for a diverse range of roles.
Proven ability to lead large-scale P&O projects, managing complex timelines, risks, and cross-functional stakeholders from inception to completion. Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with leaders and teams.
