Job description
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Sydney. Our team advises on high-value, market-leading deals with a focus on real assets and is one of the most active in the market over a sustained period. You will work closely with David Eliakim , Practice Leader of M&A, and Daniel Natale , a leading partner with expertise in public and private M&A and investment funds.
In this role you work with our partners and team to drive complex, high-profile transactions that shape the real assets and private capital landscape. You will engage directly with clients, build a genuinely broad and commercial skillset across M&A, funds and capital markets, and position yourself at the centre of the team’s most significant matters.
What you will do
Work on complex public and private M&A transactions including cross-border deals Structure and deliver fund formations, restructures and capital raisings Advise on listed and unlisted transactions Manage client relationships and coordinate teams Mentor and develop junior lawyers What you will bring Experience working in a top-tier or reputable mid-tier firm Strong experience in M&A (public and private), ideally involving real estate and infrastructure Strong technical skills with experience in laws that apply to managed investment schemes Leadership capability and interest in mentoring more junior members of the team Ability to manage competing priorities and work directly with clients A world view, and a curiosity about events that matter to our clients You will be drawn to a high-performance culture and environment.
