Medical Assistant (Pre-Admission Testing) The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Medical Assistant serves as the primary coordinator for the administrative preparation of surgical patients. This position is responsible for surgery scheduling, obtaining and organizing required documentation, coordinating clinical clearances, preparing surgical charts, and supporting the PAT Registered Nurse to ensure patients are fully prepared for surgery
