As a Data Technician I you will provide support services and enrichment activities to Alaska Native and American Indian students.
The Data Technician I supports both Head Start and Early Head Start families. JOB DUTIES: Collect, review, and enter data on a daily basis, using combination of software (MS Suite, Child Plus and TSG, Pro. Care, ADP, ASQ, Pro. Solutions, CNPWeb, GMS) Prepare data for weekly, monthly, periodic, quarterly, and annual reports.
Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, virtual, in person and other required meetings. Confidence to facilitate or share data story and help create a learning plan related to data. May serve as back-up for accounts receivable/payables for program as requested. Maintain a professional work relationships and interactions with all level of staff.
Scan, file, prepare, and communicate application status. Perform other duties as assigned to benefit the entire program. NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY Advanced knowledge and use of personal computer (desk/laptop) and ability to use a variety of computer software to track data and reporting opportunities. Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices.
Understanding and sensitivity to diverse cultures and lifestyles, as well as cross-cultural or mix of generation communication styles. Skill in managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently and meet deadlines. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative and respectful working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and program families or partnering agency liaisons.
Ability to report to work in a timely manner. Ability to work independently and in a team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Education & Experience) High School Diploma or equivalent AND Associate Degree or proof of attending college or technical school to obtain a degree. One (1) year clerical experience involving data entry and/or performing diverse administrative duties. A combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may substitute for degree requirements.
