Notice of Vacancy Date : September 22, 2026 Deadline to Apply : October 6, 2026 Position : Technology Network Technician: Classified #11014 Location : Silver Creek School Corporation Status : Full-Time Beginning Date : September 28, 2026 Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred 1�2 years of IT or tech support experience Working knowledge of school-based technology and support procedures Contractual Days: 260 Responsibilities of the Position: Set up, configure, and image laptops, desktops, tablets, Chromebooks, and peripherals.

Install, maintain, and update hardware and software systems. Monitor and maintain technology inventory, asset tags, and related documentation. Provide Help Desk support and troubleshoot hardware, software, audio-visual, printing, and connectivity issues. Perform hardware diagnostics and basic component repairs; escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.

Provide support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace for Education and Chromebook devices. Assist end users with routine technical questions, in-classroom technology use, and testing setups. Maintain technology support logs and user documentation. Stay current with emerging technology trends through training, technical materials, and workshops.
