Lead Phlebotomist

Has oversight of staff who process specimens, perform waived testing and phlebotomy, and processes Microbiology specimens. Maintains phlebotomy and waived testing skills as a support function to the patient care areas. Processes, responds and troubleshoots all inquiries for patient results and information with complete follow-up.

Ensures that billing processes are timely, accurate and correct. Ensures coverage for scheduling of the Laboratory Control Center. MLT(ASCP), LCT or equivalent Laboratory experience required. 3-4 years Phlebotomy experience required. Must be able to communicate well with patients, physicians and staff. # RUSH salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data.
