QA Engineer

Job Title: SAP QA Test Lead Company: Ascendion Location: Pune Job Summary: Ascendion is looking for an experienced SAP QA Test Lead with strong expertise in SAP FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) to lead testing activities, ensure quality delivery, and drive end-to-end testing for SAP implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead test planning, test strategy, test case design, and execution for SAP FICA. Validate FICA processes, including invoicing, payments, dunning, collections, and account reconciliation. Manage functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve defects.

Track test progress, manage defect lifecycle, and prepare test status reports. Ensure quality standards and timely delivery of testing milestones.

Required Skills

& Experience: Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICA testing. Experience leading QA teams and managing end-to-end testing cycles. Good understanding of SAP FI-CA business processes and integration with other SAP modules. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred: Experience in SAP IS-U or Utilities domain is an added advantage.
