Job Details: Job Location: Ford Community and Performing Arts Center

• Dearborn, MI, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00Hourly, DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK: Provides overall administrative and operational support for the Senior Services division, assisting the supervisor and the team with daily clerical tasks, inquiries, and customer service at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(Must be able to perform either with or without reasonable accommodation) Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing division events, including the Senior Expo, Volunteer Luncheon, and day-to-day department activities. Provides front desk coverage and customer service during morning hours, serving as the primary point of contact for senior patrons and visitors.

Performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of the basic Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. Must be comfortable using various cloud-based applications. Ability to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.

Ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to take direction and meet deadlines. A demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and complete assignments without close supervision.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D. equivalent. POST OFFER REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory completion of criminal history (including sex offender registry if applicable), background check and a drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.
