Requirements

Must be highly qualified, providing supporting documentation, having 1 of the 3 listed below:

1. Completed two years of study ( earning 60 or more credit hours ) from an accredited institution of higher education ( Transcript ). 2. have an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education ( Transcript ).
2. Obtained a passing score on the MN approved assessment Para. Pro or Para. Educator exam, both measuring math and reading skills ( Certification ).

Compensation

Substitutes are paid at step 1 of the classification they sub for.
