Job Roles & Responsibilities Counselling Work Provide Individual counselling to students being referred Conduct face-to-face counselling Consult with teachers/Teacher Counselors/ HOD Student Development or its equivalent/ VP/P regarding students being counselled Work with families of students being counselled Conduct home visits (with school personnel) where necessary Refer students and their families to community resources for specialized assistance where necessary Provide regular feedback to the school administration and teachers concerned on the work done with the students counselled Provide consultation to teachers/parents on non-referral cases and other counselling-related matters Provide group-counselling to students being referred Provide other counselling-related matters as assigned by the Principal or person(s) authorized to do so Requirements Job Requirements Shall be registered with the Ministry of Education The counselor should preferably have received training in Choice-Theory Reality Therapy (CTRT).

Preferably have received training in counselling from an institution recognized by the Singapore Association for Counselling
