We are seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist / Laboratory & Phlebotomy Processor to provide diagnostic imaging services while supporting laboratory operations, specimen collection, and patient care.
This unique dual-role opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of healthcare while working closely with patients, providers, and healthcare teams.
What You'll Do
As a Registered Radiologic Technologist / Laboratory & Phlebotomy Processor, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting laboratory operations through specimen collection, processing, and laboratory workflow activities. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with provider orders, established radiology protocols, and patient safety standards.
You will ensure high-quality imaging while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. In addition to imaging responsibilities, you will perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages. You will accurately label, process, prepare, and transport specimens for in-house and reference laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity throughout the process.
You will perform authorized laboratory procedures, maintain quality control documentation, and support laboratory operations in a moderate complexity laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
also include assisting with laboratory inventory management, equipment maintenance, workflow coordination, and compliance activities. This position works collaboratively with providers, nurses, laboratory professionals, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow, timely testing, accurate results, and exceptional patient experiences.
What You'll Bring
You are a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and maintain current ARRT certification. You demonstrate excellent patient care and customer service skills while maintaining professionalism and compassion during every patient interaction. You possess strong attention to detail and are committed to accuracy in both imaging and laboratory functions.
You thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality and efficiency. You communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout clinical environments for extended periods. Ability to assist patients with positioning and mobility during imaging procedures and specimen collection activities. Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment, supplies, and specimens as needed.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while responding to changing patient and operational needs. Education, Certifications & Licensure Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. Current state radiology license required if applicable. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Previous outpatient clinic experience preferred. Experience in a moderate complexity laboratory environment preferred.
Experience with laboratory information systems, electronic medical records, and healthcare technology platforms preferred. Knowledge of laboratory operations, specimen processing, phlebotomy procedures, quality control standards, and diagnostic imaging practices preferred.
