Shelter Kitchen Specialist: part- time

The Shelter Kitchen Specialist is passionate about preparing and serving nutritious and delicious meals to shelter guests. The incumbent has responsibility for the food services operation including food production, ensuring quality standards in service delivery, food handling safety, clean-up, and general upkeep of the kitchen and dining hall.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated culinary and catering experience including food preparation, catering and serving food to large groups of individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, meal planning, and knowledge of food safety. Being organized and planful are critical to ensure smooth food and nutrition services are provided daily.
