Industrial Pipe Fitter

Sletten Construction is looking for an Interior Industrial Pipe Fitter to support current industrial construction projects in the state of Wyoming. The Pipe Fitter is responsible for assisting the construction team with various pipe systems and other related industrial equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Read and interpret plans, blueprints and sketches Construct, lay out or plan piping assemblies with respect to walls, structures and other obstructions Construct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systems Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles including but not limited to; CPVC/PVC Utility piping Proper assembly and joining of various pipe systems Setting grade lasers and understand profile drawing and 1-lines Coordinate routing around existing buried utilities Work around heavy equipment Industrial Mechanical Piping Setting of pumps and other related industrial equipment Layout and installation of supports.

Qualifications

Previous pipe fitting experience Good communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to read and understand blueprints Experience with treatment plants is preferred Additional Information Initial project is located in Casper, WY Work environment is a combination of outdoors and indoors EOE, M/F/D/V welcomed to apply
