Maintenance Worker

Life. Skills Connection, Inc. | Build, Inspire, Grow Maintenance Worker Full-Time, Non-Exempt | Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor Life. Skills Connection, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Worker to help keep our facilities safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly. You'll work side by side with our Maintenance Supervisor to make sure repairs and day-to-day operations get done right and on time — this is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a job where you're left to figure it out alone.

What You'll Do

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department Evaluate and periodically inspect systems and facilities to identify maintenance and repairs that need to be performed Perform maintenance at Life. Skills facilities as assigned, and operate and maintain Life. Skills equipment Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner, in line with quality standards and health and safety regulations Help coordinate scheduled maintenance audits of equipment and assist in developing maintenance procedures and schedules Help maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for our equipment Partner with the Supervisor and your teammates — maintenance here is a team sport What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED At least five years of maintenance experience, with solid knowledge of maintenance and equipment procedures Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize your work Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team A reliable, high-energy approach, and the ownership mindset to drive activities through to completion Why Life.
