• The Barista is responsible for creating and delivering an exceptional Starbucks experience to customers by preparing high-quality coffee and tea beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and uphold Starbucks’ commitment to quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and customer seating areas.
• Operate coffee-making equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures.
• Uphold Starbucks’ standards of quality, safety, and sustainability in all aspects of work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge of Starbucks products and services.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.Qualifications: Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or handling is an advantage.
