• Job Opportunity, New Listing Facility City & State: Northern CA Facility Type: Indian Health Provider Profession Needed: Family Medicine MD/DO Specialty: Family Medicine Start Date: ASAP START DATE End Date: Length of Assignment: 3 months Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks avg. Must be approved by the board. Meeting 2x per month. Work Schedule: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM with a 1 hour lunch Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day Procedures: Full-scope Family Medicine
• Performs basic outpatient procedures
• Management of hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic conditions
• Same-day patient visits and overflow coverage
• Comprehensive primary care for patients of all age groups
• Chronic disease management and follow-up care EMR: Currently using RPMS Transitioning to EPIC EMR in July 14 2026 ? License Needed: ANY STATE LICENSE *The IHS board is starting to prefer locums who have CA license. We can still get away with Any State license though. Must have active DEA and BLS Certifications Needed: Accepting Board Certified OR Board Eligible Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: MD/DO Prefer locums who have IHS/ Rural Health Experience Other additional pertinent information:
