The unit is open around the clock and designed to provide mental health care to patients ages 18 to

BHU provides psychiatry services, individual and group therapy, social work services, and 24/7 nursing care in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Treatment is based on patient-driven care to ensure success upon discharge. With an average length of stay of 3 to 5 days, we strive to stabilize patients and integrate them into community mental health services Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs selected duties for the production of health in the care of patients. The LPN delivers care according to protocols and procedures in Department Specific and Generic Structure Standards Manuals.
