Treasury Dealer (Sales)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure customer retention by selling treasury products and enhance the foreign exchange turnover and profitability during the year
• To bring new clients for Treasury products, as well as new customer deposits
• To provide liaison between Treasury and business teams ( Relationship Managers as well as Branch Managers )
• Compliance to the bank’s internal controls as per the guidelines set by the department especially on customer KYC due diligence
• Manage the bank’s Investment portfolio of treasury bills / bonds and ensure placement of surplus funds to maximize the profitability and ensure meeting the Treasury bill investment targets of the bank for the year.
• Monitor Liquidity position on a daily basis through inter-bank borrowings and placements to ensure that the liquidity ratios are in compliance with BOT requirements / our internal policies
• To provide updates to all key corporate clients on important market developments Risk Management:
• Ensure effective adoption and utilization of risk management tools
• Drive remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audit or risk reviews
• Promote risk management culture Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
• A degree in B. Com with Finance or Bachelor of Accounting & Finance preferred.
• ACI certification will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 3 years of dealing experience with thorough knowledge and experience in foreign exchange, money market and currency derivative
