CMM/Layout Technician- B Shift

What You’ll Be Doing: Complete layout inspection activities for launch of new programs, annual layouts, as well as engineering changes for current programs. Utilization of fixturing for the layouts. Support manufacturing operations through completion of in-process product inspections as details in QCP. Assist in resolution of customer complaints and participate in continuous improvement activities through completion of product layouts including capability studies.

Interpret customer part drawings including GD&T designations for proper part staging and measurement methodology. Seek most efficient means of delivering on-time layouts with heavy emphasis on programming for repetitive measurements. Timely communication of issues preventing the completion of on-time layouts. We would love to hear from you if: Education and/or Experience: Preferred college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Email/Teams); PC DMIS software; GD&T software; Measuremax software; Ability to learn new software as needed.
