Commercial Legal Counsel

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a global i. Gaming entertainment company operating more than 30 brands, that is seeking to onboard a Commercial Legal Counsel to join their expanding Legal team. This role suits an ambitious commercial lawyer who enjoys handling complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

You will advise the business on a broad range of legal matters, lead commercial contract negotiations, support licensing and intellectual property matters, and contribute to corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Position: Commercial Legal Counsel Location: Limassol, Cyprus Model: On-site Employment type: Full time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, employment, partnership, international business and corporate finance matters Advise executives on a broad range of commercial legal issues, providing accurate and timely guidance Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, including game supplier contracts, payment service provider agreements, licence agreements, NDAs and marketing agreements Advise on intellectual property rights and licensing matters Coordinate with external legal counsel on jurisdiction-specific matters, including litigation, enforcement and licence applications Support the development and delivery of legal training for team members and business stakeholders Contribute to drafting and implementing company policies and procedures Support mergers and acquisitions in collaboration with the management team REQUIREMENTS: Law degree (LLB); an LLM is an advantage Admission to the Bar in the candidate's jurisdiction of origin Ideally, at least 4 years of legal experience Proven experience working as an in-house Legal Counsel Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organisational skills BENEFITS: Excellent working environment Monetary vouchers for birthdays and other special occasions Fully equipped kitchen and in-house entertainment space Eligibility to enrol in the company's medical insurance plan Eligibility to enrol in the company's pension plan Company activities, including monthly lunches, corporate gatherings, an intercompany football team and competitions Casual dress code Opportunities for professional development within a major international i.
