Description Superior Electrical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted contractor specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician with a valid Hawaii journeyman electrician license to support tenant improvement and new construction projects. Schedule Sunday to Thursday 9 p.

m. to 5:30 a.m. Overtime available but not guaranteed Travel opportunities available Responsibilities Install, bend, route, and secure conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, RMC, flexible conduit, MC cable, and CAT5/6 cabling, as specified for each project Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and related commercial electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes Pull, identify, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment Install, wire, and troubleshoot control panels, motor controls, and related electrical components Troubleshoot electrical installation issues, malfunctions, and quality control test Install refrigeration motor control wiring, as applicable; experience preferred Properly wire-up Ansul fire suppression systems; experience preferred Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, panel schedules, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete work efficiently and meet project schedules Follow company safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Perform additional jobsite duties as assigned by the foreman Requirements Current journeyman electrical license issued by the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) Ability to commute to various jobsites on Oahu Must be available to work third shifts or overnight schedules as the regular work schedule Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather About the Company Superior Electrical & Plumbing, Inc.
