The City of Iqaluit is looking for a Facilities Worker to join our team! Title: Facilities Worker. Department: Recreation. Status: Full Time permanent Rate of Pay: $34.25/ per hour 35 hours a week. Settlement Allowance: $20,907.43 per annum Union Status: Unionized. Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, the Facility Worker is responsible for establishing recreational programs through the operation and maintenance of the arena, curling rinks, ball fields, parks, and playgrounds.

Required Education and Experience:Minimum Level of Education/Training:Grade 10 or EquivalentCPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain Minimum Level of Experience:Up to 1 year of experience performing Custodial Duties.Additional Requirements:Indigenous Language: Required. Formation et expérience requises :Niveau minimum d’études/de formation :Avoir terminé leur dixième année ou l’équivalentÊtre titulaire d’une certification valide de RCR et de premiers soins ou capacité à obtenir Niveau minimum d’expérience :Au moins un an d’expérience dans l’exercice d’entretien des installations.
